Essential Functions·Schedule and accompany persons served to and from medical, dental, vision, and counseling appointments.·Assure all documents are filed, copied and/or routed to the appropriate location.·Assure that all documents needed for assigned appointments are obtained, completed, and returned appropriately.·Know the reason for assigned appointments.·Provide transportation to persons served for miscellaneous appointments and for emergencies. ·Read and follow all aspects of the Person Centered Plan as applicable.·Administer medications as indicated on the M.A.R. for persons served when needed due to pre-medication for procedures and PRN’s like inhalers during transit.·Advocate for persons served while interacting in the community.·Abide by accreditation standards when performing job duties.·Lift, transfer, and/or physically assist persons served as needed.·Attend and pass all required courses when scheduled. (CPR & First Aid, Med. Admin., Abuse & Neglect, CPI)·Read and follow through on policies and procedures and keep abreast of changes and additional information. ·
Secondary Functions·Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.·Attend all meetings and agency events as required.·Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor.
