Job Description

POSIM, LLC, a Retail Success company, is looking for a Sales Representative for our Overland Park, KS office. The Sales Representative will have a competitive spirit and track record of success in closing sales. This position is responsible for cold-calling potential retail business clients from their own lead-generation activities, as well as from the web and POSIM marketing campaigns. The Sales Representative will build and manage a pipeline of new leads and deals, as well as service and up-sell existing accounts. Must be energetic, well-spoken and eager to close sales and increase revenue for POSIM. This position offers a base salary and commissions with uncapped potential.


POSIM, LLC provides retail business solutions for small to mid-sized retailers. We provide a comprehensive point of sale and inventory management system that integrates functionality with leading e-commerce providers, email and social media marketing, accounting suites, as well as offering franchise and multiple stores a multi-site management platform. Qualifications:

  • College degree or equivalent coursework and experience is required.

  • Minimum of 1-3 years related work experience with outbound call centers, inside sales, or related sales experience is required.

  • Experience working in either software or retail industries is a plus.


Essential Functions:

  • Research, call and email retail store owners around the U.S. within specific market verticals.

  • Create a pipeline of leads and deals, and close sales to meet monthly account goals as established by the General Manager.

  • Utilize your own network, verified databases, internet search and other means to source new opportunities and build prospecting lists.

  • Understand and problem-solve client needs, and offer tailored solutions and support.

  • Responsible for timely follow-up on incoming leads generated by marketing campaigns, social media and organic/paid search.

  • Perform live demonstrations of point-of-sale software to prospective customers.

  • Receive incoming calls and emails from existing customers, process orders and up-sell additional products and services.

  • Track weekly, monthly and quarterly performance and sales metrics.

  • Utilize CRM systems to create and move leads and deals through the pipeline, and to document correspondence.

  • Attend 3-6 industry trade shows each year, including exhibit set-up/tear-down, working the exhibit and generating leads.


Travel:

  • Must be available to travel to domestic trade shows 3-6 times per year, 3-5 days per trip.

  • In-depth understanding of company products, services and support, as well as its value proposition and competitiveness in the industry.

  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel), Google Drive, internet searching, and web-based presentation tools such as Zoom. Experience with CRM systems such as HubSpot is preferred.

  • As a representative of the company, must be polished and always display the utmost professionalism.
