Job Description
 

I-State Truck Center, located in Marshfield, Wisconsin, is seeking an experienced Material Handling salesperson to join their team. Join a top supplier of material
handling trucks and equipment to construction and building supply industries and contribute to its exciting growth. This opportunity is part of a long-term, strategic plan
to foster and develop new and existing customers in their specific territory. This territory consists of Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Missouri. The
salesperson must reside in (or relocate to) one of the states in the territory, to be considered for this position.

Position Description:

  • Drive sales growth in targeted markets
  • Manage territory to meet sales goals
  • Maintain an established customer base
  • Develop new customer opportunities
  • Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual sales updates
  • Ability to travel within their specific geographic territory
  • Employ business development tools as provided by the Company
  • Solve customer relation problems relating to account activity
  • Keep accurate and timely records pertaining to key accounts
  • Maintain company CRM database
  • Gather business intelligence and share it with company partners
  • Develop and nurture long-term customer contacts
Job Requirements
Professional Experience:

Five years of successful outside sales experience
Preferred sales background in Truck, or Heavy Equipment
Hands-on, working knowledge of trucks and related equipment
Working knowledge in usage of computers and technology
Ability to make cold calls and develop new business contacts
Valid driver’s license required with the ability to obtain a CDL endorsement
Results oriented, attention to detail, and sound time management skills
Must pass drug, alcohol, background checks, and have a clean driving record
