This is a salaried, non-commission sales position. The right fit for this position must be a self-starter, driven, and motivated to sell our services through prospecting, scheduling calls, understanding client needs, following up on leads, coordinating with consultants, and attending conferences.
The Strategic Sales Associate must take initiative and be able to manage and prioritize dozens of leads and client conversations. Understanding our prospects and client's need and connecting them with our services is a top priority for this position.
Strategic Sales Associate duties and responsibilities include the following:
Essential Job Functions:
Play a key role in assisting in the successful completion of the company’s overall strategic planDemonstrate ability in consultative and strategic selling techniquesPassion for generating new business through lead prospecting through email and phone campaignsAbility to adapt and handle multiple projects and conversations dailyCreate clarity and go-forward strategies for client and prospect conversationsBalance following the sales process while being flexible to make adjustments when neededCommunicate the value of our consulting services, peer communities, and training programs to prospects and clientsAbility to ask great questions, listen and understand the needs of prospects and clientsCollaborate with other Strategic Sales Associates and Consultants to coordinate team selling efforts by utilizing our streamlined sales processContract creation including retainers, Fixed Pricing Agreements, Requests for Proposals, and Value Creation LettersParticipate in sales calls for the next steps in the proposal process and ongoing relationship buildingConference preparation, attendance, and follow-up work. This includes prospecting, lead generation, and follow-ups for contacts made at the events.Prepare updates for Weekly Sales Meeting on prospecting efforts, deals in progress, and won leadsWorks directly with the Strategic Sales Manager and Business Development Team regarding sales strategies and techniquesMember of the Sales Team and Business Development Team each meets weekly to coordinate sales and marketing efforts. Prepare accordingly for the weekly meetingsContinued learning and growth through reading, podcasts, training, and other opportunities that present themselves throughout the year.
Bachelor’s degree required, sales experience a plus.

Able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a distributed team.
Normal office hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.
We are a distributed company and are looking for the right fit. This position is a remote position.
Occasional overtime may be required as well as flexibility in working hours.
We are a flexible work environment, where we proudly support both work and personal life integration.
Occasional overnight travel to internal and industry meetings will be required.
