JOB SUMMARY:
Under general supervision, this position is responsible for communicating with facilities and/or clients in order to obtain Attending Physician Statements in the most time efficient manner possible. This position may also be accountable for preparing and distributing request, assisting in the distribution of records to clients, reviewing records, sorting and filing. This position may also be responsible maintaining the basic level production and quality standards.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for communicating with facilities in order to obtain Attending Physician Statements.
Contacts the facility to confirm all the necessary information in order to verify and/or status the request.
Must thoroughly document all information received from the facility and/or client and be able to troubleshoot errors as they occur.
May also be accountable for preparing and distributing requests, assisting in the distribution of records to clients, reviewing records, sorting and filing.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Ability to work in a team environment
Type 25 wpm
Good communication skills
Basic computer skills
Good work attendance record
