Job Description
MobilityWorks is urgently seeking experienced mechanics/technicians of various levels to join our team. We are open to candidates from different backgrounds and expertise, not limited to the mobility sector. A strong background in diagnostics is essential, and knowledge of 12-volt systems is a plus. While OEM and ASE certifications are advantageous, they are not required.

As a Diagnostic Automotive Technician at MobilityWorks, you will be responsible for performing a range of highly skilled mechanical work in the maintenance and repair of automotive and related equipment. Your duties will include analyzing and diagnosing complex maintenance defects, conducting vehicle inspections, performing road tests, and operating specialized equipment common to the automotive repair industry.
Here's what you'll get to accomplish in this role:
Conduct diagnostics and testing
Install and connect various electric wiring systems
Perform functional tests on electrical systems
Identify and correct any problems found
Install electrical panels and miscellaneous components as per engineering specifications
Ensure the quality of work through thorough checks
Read and understand schematics
Assess vehicle damage or malfunctions and provide repair recommendations, parts lists, and estimated repair time
Perform under-car, under-hood, and preventive maintenance inspections accurately
Troubleshoot problems related to the work performed
Job Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
General automotive maintenance experience
Experience working with brake and steering systems
Solid electrical and/or automotive wiring experience
Familiarity with hydraulic and electrical systems
Strong background in electronic troubleshooting and repair
Excellent mechanical problem-solving skills
Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
