Role Description
This is a full-time, IN PERSON role for a Freight Forwarding Domestic Operations Agent located in Kansas City, MO. The role involves managing freight transportation logistics, coordinating domestic freight forwarding operations, and delivering exceptional customer service. Key responsibilities include processing shipments, ensuring compliance with transportation requirements, and maintaining communication with clients and carriers to facilitate on-time deliveries.
What You'll Do
Manage and coordinate domestic shipments from start to finish (air, ground, hot shot, and expedited freight).
Provide real-time communication and updates to customers and carriers.
Quote, book, and track shipments with accuracy and urgency.
Collaborate with our experienced team to solve logistics challenges creatively and efficiently.
Ensure compliance with company procedures and customer requirements.
Deliver the level of service that makes DBA a trusted partner to clients around the world
Job Requirements
Qualifications
Experience in Forwarding and Export logistics
Strong Customer Service skills to manage client interactions and build relationships
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication abilities
Ability to work on-site and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Proven problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
Team-oriented, flexibility, with a strong sense of accountability and initiative.
All in commitment.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in logistics is a plus
