Position: Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift 3pm-11:30pm)
Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician:
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on all mechanical equipment within the facility and exterior groundsInspect, repair and maintain electric powered material handling equipment; i.e. reach trucks, dock trucks, pallet jacks and conveyors, roll up doors, etc.Inspect, repair and maintain facility infrastructure such as plumbing, HVAC and electrical systems.Ability to operate a cutting torch and other welding apparatus to cut or join metal partsAbility to operate a variety of motorized lifts such as Genie Booms, scissor lifts, forklifts, etc.Must be willing to follow all required Safety policies as outlined by OSHAAbility to climb stairs and work on raised platforms to complete preventive maintenanceAbility to utilize a Computerize Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to allocate repairs, parts, labor costs and work orders.Work Environment
Fast paced, large volume cold storage distribution center environment Warehouse docks are kept at 35 degrees, cooler areas at 28 degrees and Freezer areas at o degrees or below. Ability to withstand cold storage temperatures for extended periods of time (warm gear provided by company) Noise level varies at times and it can be loud

Required Qualifications of the Maintenance Technician:
• Completed High School diploma or GED
• 2+ years’ experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and/or general building maintenance
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite
Preferred Qualifications of the Maintenance Technician:
• Welding and/or electrical certifications
• HVAC/R certifications
• Electrical experience
• Experience in commercial, residential, or industrial HVAC/Refrigeration
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, piping and instrumentation diagram (P&ID) drawings
