Streck is currently recruiting for a talented and experienced individual to join our MIS team. This challenging and rewarding position is responsible for using technical experience with standards, policies, practices and procedures to provide primary support of infrastructure hardware and system software components.
Requirements:
• Associate or Bachelor Degree in Information Technology and three years of desktop/network support.
• Three years experience and interest to continue providing hands on Technical PC support services including: desktop, laptops, and printers, as well as servers, network switches, and storage hardware and software installation, configuration, trouble shooting, and upgrades in a medium sized Microsoft Infrastructure environment.
• Expert knowledge of desktop operating systems (Windows XP / Windows 7)
• Experience with backup and recovery software
• Knowledge and experience with file folder rights, active directory, and group policy management•
• Experience with developing/maintaining infrastructure documentation and operating procedures
• Ability to work efficiently with all levels of management, MIS staff and network users
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Desire to learn and grow skills and capabilities within a desktop, network/server environment
• Customer Service mentality
• Proven experience and willingness to document technical environment and utilize a service request management system

Skills
Additional experience in these areas a plus:
Exchange 2010, VMware vSphere server virtualization, HP network switches, Dell Servers, Dell EqualLogic Storage Area Network, Symantec Backup Exec products, Desktop and network maintenance standards, Knowledge of configuration and change management policies, and Knowledge of VOIP phone systems.
