Description
CITRIX ADMIN / PROJECT MANAGER
• Participate in systems infrastructure strategy and infrastructure security discussions, as well as providing system infrastructure design solutions/options. Must be a problem solver able to identify and solve complex IT issues without supervision. Absolutely must have work experience in Virtual environments, Citrix, remote access options, and data center infrastructure.
• Must have experience running projects and building project plans.
• Performs day to day monitoring and maintenance of Small Citrix Farm.
• Maintains library of associated materials for all equipment, processes, and procedures.
• Maintain data center documentation that accurately shows the systems installed and their purpose.
• Monitors and maintains systems infrastructure stability and availability with assistance of 24x7 NOC
• Communicates and coordinates network schedule, backups, and downtime to users.
• Insures all systems are backed up and mirrored to disaster recovery sites.
• Coordinates third-party maintenance for network server hardware, and software services.
• Interfaces with the local network administrators, systems administrators when applicable to set up and maintain basic network operations, including assembly of network PC/Server hardware.
• Performs PC/Server troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common problems.
• Deal with help desk issues as they arise.
