Information Systems Coordinator

Administer and maintain secure system access to internal resources for employees, in accordance with established security policy and standards, by ensuring quality of access processing and development of processing efficiencies. Oversees health plan file exchange activities including tracking SQL database loads for critical files and business requirements for new or changing file exchange activities.
Under general supervision, assists with designing and implementing access controls to protect data and applications. With guidance and direction, supports new application implementation and upgrades. Performs quality reviews of access processing and develop/implement processing efficiencies. Provides prompt analysis and resolution of access related problems for both internal/external users and applications. Performs ongoing system maintenance, research and support, according to defined plans or documentation for existing systems, to include application development service requests, production support enhancements, vendor patches, major upgrades, etc. Assists with technical support and systems administration functions. Assists/coordinates tasks in the introduction of new technology, business/system integrations, procedural and application changes in the Computing environment. Participates in vendor application software evaluation and installation. Designs, establishes, and enforces department documentation and processes, including status reports and metrics.
2+ years of SQL Server experience is required.
2+ years experience in technology support or application program development.
2+ years experience in complex computing environment, with a background in mainframe, midrange, distributed, network and WEB environments
Experience in Healthcare is required - Medicaid is a plus
Experience with application development/technology support packages, product/technology evaluations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Enterprise, application and information architecture design experience preferred.
Familiarity with infrastructure operations. Strong analytical skills used to identify and resolve problems.
Experience within a highly technical large data processing environment including mainframe, midrange, network and distributed services.
Strong leadership experience, ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities, effective management of resources and strong communication skills.
Financial experience is a plus.
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
