Job Description
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for the overall management of the warehouse to support event teams and client needs. This is a part-time independent contractor position (10-20 hours/week) with the potential to move to part-time or full-time employment

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Accounting for supplies / equipment that enter and leave the warehouse
-Acquisition and staging of pick list items
-Sourcing of items needed and/or replenishment of items used
-Tracking and notification of damaged items
-Responsible for the return and proper storage of items following an event
-Handle loading and unloading operations
-Organizing how and where supplies are stored
-Keeping the warehouse clean and neat
-Ensure all items in the warehouse are appropriately received and stored
-Record keeping and data entry
-Maintaining the event toolboxes
-Responsible for managing inventory management system
-Responsible for fulfilling reporting needs
-Working with event teams to ensure necessary equipment & supplies are available, ready and in good condition
-Create and manage receiving, warehousing, and distribution processes and procedures, and confirm staff compliance
-Ability to help design and create specialized storage for assets as needed
-Conduct physical counts of products and reconcile with data to maintain adequate inventory levels
-Inspect all warehouse equipment and manage cleaning, repairs and replacements when required
-Create and manage warehouse processes
Job Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
-Basic fluency in computer programs (Excel, Word, Google Docs) and internet search/research skills
-Flexible schedule depending on number of events or related projects where assets from the warehouse are needed to Evenergy to execute.
-Ability to work outside the 9am-5pm workday including weekend hours as needed
-Excellent organizational and time-management skills
-Problem solving skills
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Skills in inventory control and management
-Knowledge of proper safety procedures, equipment maintenance, and warehouse best practices
-Valid driver’s license, insurance and vehicle to get back and forth from warehouse, visit stores to purchase assets and to drive to events, as needed

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
-High school diploma/GED required
-3+ years’ experience in inventory management, warehouse work or related field preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Physical ability to frequently lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds or more. While performing the duties of this job, the employee must occasionally climb or balance, stoop, kneel or crouch
